Minimalistic Squarespace Website for a Consultancy

LEN Consultant firm helps Australian businesses identify opportunities for sustainable growth and operational efficiencies. Its owner and principal consultant Lauren Nolan decided to build a website for her newly established business using Squarespace and the Premium Squarespace Template Lora from our shop.
Lauren needed a website that would serve as her digital business card, which is why she opted for a short and sweet one-pager. This is a great example of a content-light but conversation-focused website. Our head designer Olga helped Lauren to finalize the result and polished the page during a website tweaks session.
The home page opens with a strong headline on a neutral background photo – a wall of a building – to make a strong first impression. The second section visually supports it with a split section (Lora template’s signature feature) and a close-up image of a clock.
The design is very minimalistic – strategic use of white space keeps the page uncluttered while alternating background colors help segment sections.
To establish a close rapport with a potential client we built a powerful About section that consists of Lauren’s portrait and her bio. This section also reinforces the feeling that this is a boutique consultancy, not a faceless firm.
