Girlie and Fun Squarespace Website for a Marketing Agency
Social Savvy
Social Savvy is an American social media and digital marketing agency that employs a mix of creatives, strategists, and data-driven marketers. All of them share one thing in common – they are obsessed with helping brands thrive.
We consider Social Savvy a regular client, as they have purchased three Squarespace templates from our shop. Two of them are already published websites and one is in the works. For their agency's website, they bought our modern and playful Launch Day Squarespace Template.
In the Launch Day template, we use video backgrounds for the first screens of several pages. The dummy videos show people working at the office and having meetings. Social Savvy swapped them for the videos of their team hanging out together. Clinking glasses and smiley faces give the website a joyful and nonchalant atmosphere. The imagery has the same vibe – girls add pictures of themselves at the pool (or spa) – making you feel like you totally could be friends with them.
To make the website look even more playful, Social Savvy added a scalloped edge to some section borders. These decorative wavy edges remind us of awnings just like the ones you see outside cafés, bakeries, and boutiques. These section borders give the website a charming, European-style touch.
The color palette is light-hearted and girlie – baby blue and light peach pink for backgrounds, with darker shades of both for accents. Social Savvy are bold with using color as they add lime green to their vivid palette.
To enliven their copy, they use text highlight tool options – encircle, underline, wave, strikethrough – to add emphasis to some words.
To establish credibility early on, Social Savvy filled in the "out clients" section with logos on the homepage. They publish case studies and blog posts with marketing tips to deepen the feeling of trustworthiness even further.
Here’s what Jessica from Social savvy has to say about the template:
We have bought several templates before for our Squarespace website, but none of them were as beautifully and expertly designed as Applet Studio's. The template was installed for us by our team (a much necessary add-on since we've had an established website for years). If you are re-doing your website, or wondering why it's really not converting, I'd recommend any one of their templates. We loved it so much, we came back and bought one for our podcast Hashtag Managed!
