Playful Squarespace Website for a Marketing Mentor

Alice Abba is a marketing mentor and a podcast host based in Australia. She runs her business from her living room (or the road) and helps other women do the same. For her website refreshment, she bought a Boho Social Squarespace template from our shop.
Her new website had to host her blog, podcast, and offer, and structurally speaking, Boho Social template was a great choice for the renovation of the website.
For the color scheme, Alice mostly stayed with the original colors of the template, and even “calmed it down” a bit by getting rid of a few color accents. This is a great approach: it is always better to get rid of things than adding more when working with web design. Otherwise, things start to get messy. Alice achieved a very clean airy look creating lots of space with the white color.
She throws in lots of fun and personality to her website with her photos. She is smiling in many of them, which makes her and her business look friendly and approachable. The photos bring forth the liveliness of her brand.
With every template, customers get the source files for the graphic design tool called Figma. In such a way, they can work with graphic elements and tweak them to their liking. In this case, Alice changed the original graphic elements – “blurbs”, that we had in the template, to brush-like painted dots, that look fun and artsy.
