Latricia Toussaint is the founder, and creator of Aura’ By Le’ Toussaint, a brand created to empower women through fashion, beauty, lifestyle, innovative creativity, and self-love. Before starting her brand, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care for over 14 years.
During the pandemic, she worked relentlessly on the frontlines helping the nation combat Covid-19. During that difficult time, she found her passion for physical fitness, fashion, meditation, and makeup application, which became her coping mechanism.
Trica quickly grew her fashion-focused Instagram account to thousands of followers. She came to Applet Studio with a request to create a business website that would help her publish long-form content (blog posts) and showcase her services for fashion brands. Latricia’s ultimate goal was to score brand partnerships and sell physical products.
Aura by le Toussaint’s website is dark with pink and gold accents featuring rich photography. We used editorial-style typography with handwriting accents to highlight the fashion focus. Gold, dark and light sections create a lot of contrast and help direct the attention. We helped Latricia with website copy - she filled out our content questionnaires and we took care of the rest of the work. The result is a sleek high-converting website.
