Colorful and Edgy Website for Online Course Creator and Coach
Empowering custom Squarespace 7.1website with focus on training and consulting
Our new client, Mia Henry of Freedom Lifted, offers social justice education and support for leaders and organizations. Mia started Freedom Lifted in 2011 to provide social movement history education, primarily through travel experiences to Civil Rights sites in Alabama and Mississippi and training on power, identity, oppression, and liberation.
Since the pandemic, Mia has been transitioning her offline tour business to an online format. She offers online training to teams and organizations of all kinds and launched several successful courses on the topic.
Freedom Lifted needed a facelift of her existing platforms – a Squarespace website and Thinkific site, where all training is hosted. Freedom Lifted also needed to add more interactivity to the current website.
What we did for Freedom Lifted
We started with our copywriting exercises and created several wireframes for the key pages of the websites to nail down the copywriting strategy. An important part of this project was the redesign of a current sales page for Mia’s popular online course.
We also created an array of concepts based on Freedom Lifted's existing brand style guide. We experimented with color, shapes, and photographs.
The result is a modern, colorful yet serious website that supports and highlights Freedom Lifted’s noble mission.
We redesigned the Thikific site as well to make the transition between the learning platform and sales pages more seamless and professional. We installed custom fonts and tweaked some of the colors to make the Thinkific site more in style with the new website.
On top of that, we created and styled automatic lead magnet delivery and welcome sequence with ActiveCampaign which introduces new customers to Freedom Lifted.
